My mother left me a small legacy and told me to invest it for my future. I
did. I invested it in a course of personal training and enrolment in the

-My personal medical history, plus my family health history indicated that I
was on a collision course for heart attack and/or stroke. According to
statistics, I have approximately 24 years left before I slip off this mortal coil
and I intend to do so, not with grace,d ignity and genteelnessb ut to come to
a screechingh alt, yelling "that was somer ide!!!".

The nutrition system has been good for me - I love to cook and I love to
experiment with food and this has allowed me to do so with ease and
creativity. It has also allowed me to feed my husband without any
problems or having to make two different meals. So, even though o'this is
all about me", I have been able to take him into consideration at the same

I have managed to lose weight (25 pounds) an{ inches (20 %) (something
I have-not been able to accompllsh over the past 5 years of various gyms
and programs). In addition I have lost l0% body fat. Before I started on

with a deadline of 4 to 6 months. I achieved the goal within the 12 week
period of the program. I am still losing weight gradually and have set a
new goal for a firrther 5 pound loss. My waist/hip ratio (which determines
the risk of heart disease)hasd roppedf rom 1.11t o .87. Measurements
above 1.00 are considered at risk. But the great bonus for me is that it
appears that my chronic migraine headache symptoms have diminished
drastically. I can only assume that the new balance of foods and the stress
relieving exercises have created a more beneficial pattern for me. An
additional bonus is the fact that I have reduced from a size 18 to a size

12/l4 in clothing.
The training has been both very new and very difficult for me. Without the
help of Vince (and Lee and Gary), I would never have made it this far.
They have had far more faith in me than I have had in myself and I can only
say" thank you" for their tenacity and patiencei n encouragingm e to
continue with the program and be successful. On my part, it has taken
discipline, will power, effort and determination. "A goal without a deadline
is only a dream" - my goal was reached by the deadline so it has become my achievement.
